Introducing A MindBomb Exclusive New Band: Roswick

One of the truly exciting things about having an internet radio station is being turned on to new artists, their bands, and the music that they create to entertain us all!


This can happen in any number of ways, either through the artist's label or management contacting me (Cherry Poppin' Daddies) or the artists themselves trying to get their music out to a larger audience (Arlin Godwin / Delphinium Blue). The latter was the case with "MindBomb Exclusive": Roswick!

These talented young guys hail from Redding, CA. In 2008 they won the local "Battle of The Bands" competition and then went on to record their first EP, "Defa Bia Dem" (2009).

While I was listening to them they brought to mind U2, Queen, Pearl Jam, and My Chemical Romance...I enjoyed it quite a lot. Although, they admit to listening to quite a bit of classical music, their favorite bands are Radiohead, Muse, Sigur Ros, Mew, Smashing Pumpkins, Nine Inch Nails and the Eon Epidemic.
